Workshop selector
Return to Introduction  Previous page  Next page
Impact Explorer™ maintains a history of the activities taken in a "workshop file". This file will typically be named to suit the workshop. This dialog allows you to create a new workshop, or to continue a previous one. The latter can be useful to review a previous meeting at a later date. The workshop selector dialog is shown automatically when you start the software, and can be manually invoked using this menu item.

   welcome form

On disk, a file with the extension ".ixw" will be created when the first activity starts, and when it finishes a folder is created with the workshop name and " Results" to keep the graphs in. For best operation (particularly of the Export to Word) you should keep the names synchronized if you choose to edit them outside Impact Explorer™.

A default workshop name is always suggested which consists of the current date and time. This would usually be edited to something more meaningful to reflect the purpose of the workshop.

You can rename an existing workshop by right-clicking on the list of previous workshops.
