Save as template...
Return to Introduction  Previous page  Next page
Impact Explorer allows you to create templates for workshops by saving the current workshop as a file with just the lists and presets, but no results. This allows you to get started quickly when starting a new workshop.

_actionTo use a preset, use the Workshop selector and select a new workshop. Clicking Next will take you to the next page where you can choose the preset. (Note that if you have turned off the second page, you can get it to appear by holding the shift key while clicking Next.)

_actionTo create a preset, get the current workshop as you would like it to be, with the lists and presets ready. Any results in the current file will not be saved, so you do not have to do anything to them. Use the Workshop menu Save as template item, and then save the template to disk. It will appear in the Workshop selector on next use.

Note that templates can be saved and loaded from two locations. You can either use the 'My Documents\Impact Explorer Data" folder for personal templates, or you can use the 'Program Files\Impact Explorer\Templates' directory. The actual directories may vary depending on your operation system setup, but these two locations are both available for you to use.
