If a participant leaves the meeting halfway through and is not going to return, their keypad can be removed from the system using one of two means. First, you can manually remove a particular keypad using the Keypad Activation dialog. This should be accessed using the Keypad menu Edit keypads item. Do not use the Search for keypads item since this resets all of the keypads. You can then deactivate the keypad(s) which are no longer in use.
A simpler alternative is to use the Keypad menu Remove keypads not voted item. This assumes that all those who can vote have done, and eliminates the others. The system can then be used without these keypads (in other words, you can finish an assessment session without the system requiring a response from these keypads). These facilities are not designed for use when someone is expected to return - in this case someone else should operate their keypad until they are able to do so or the workshop should be suspended temporarily.
