If you say no, then the list is imported as a simple element per line into the current list.
If you say yes, then the data will be read, and you will be shown the question import wizard. This has a display of the questions that it has determined, and the answers underneath each. You are then able to change the details to correct any mistakes the import has made.
The import looks for common patterns in the clipboard or file data, and should give a good interpretation of the data. It will look for headings followed by a list of questions and separated by an empty line. You can also have an empty line after the question. Lines of all the same character are ignored. For full details, see the Importing prepared questions and answers section. The questions above came from the word processor document below. Note that the numbers are automatically removed to avoid complications in the display and keypad choices.
If an item is incorrectly assigned, you can click on it and then click one of the change buttons to change its type.
You can edit a line either by double-clicking it, or clicking the edit button. A line can be merged with the line above, or split into multiple lines. Deleting a line should be done with care as it cannot be undone, though of course you can always add it again later in the main list editor, or reload the data again.
If the source of the data was the clipboard, then you can reload the data if it is not correct. To reload from file, you should cancel the wizard and repeat the file import.
The final option is whether you want to add the new items to the existing list, or to replace it.
Once you are satisfied that the import data is correct, click OK to add it to the list in the list manager.
