How do I stop an activity (Esc key doesn't work)?
The Control menu Cancel activity item (also available on the toolbar) allows you to stop an activity.

How can I change a list name?
Open the List Manager, and select the list in the left hand section. The list is then shown on the right. You can simply edit the title in the normal way using the List name edit field.

What does the red area in the matrix mean?
The red area in the matrix is the "highlight" area, and represents the "danger" or "concern" area. For example, if you are doing a risk analysis, something that is high risk and high impact is something you want highlighted, so the blocks in that area are shown in red. You can choose which corner should be highlighted in custom matrixes, so for example a cost/benefit analysis can show that high cost and low benefit is a risk.

Can I show the percentage of votes cast?
Yes. The graph options (available by clicking the button on the graph) allow you to show labels with the percentages.

What is the number on the average bar?
The number shown is the mean value which reflects the position of the average bar.

Does the average bar make sense in Q&A?
It depends on the questions you are asking. For example, if you are using choices that reflect "high, medium, and low", then an average would make sense. But if the choices are "Chocolate cake, ice cream, and fruit" then an average doesn't make sense. If it doesn't make sense, turn it off. But it is there in case it is useful.

How can I stop the toolbar going away?
In the Preferences dialog (Workshop menu, Preferences Item), select the User Interface tab. The "Auto-hide toolbars during action" option controls whether the toolbars are always visible.

In the Activity Wizard, what is the difference between the "type in list" and "list manager" buttons?
Both items take you to the List Manager, but the "Type in List" button starts off a new list and is immediately ready for you to type the first element. This saves some effort and makes creating a new list faster.

I turned keypad demo mode on, and now I can't turn it off (it is ticked in the menu)
Simply search for the real keypads again, perhaps using the "Use Last" button to quickly get the last selection. This turns off the demonstration mode.
