Analyst® Prices & ordering Academic prices
Academic licenses must be used for academic teaching, learning and/or research purposes and not for commercial gain (see detail below). For non-academic (“commercial”) prices, please click here. Banxia Software guidelines for eligibility for academic discount. Frontier Analyst® (version 4)Frontier Analyst® is designed for extensive DEA studies. Using experience and feedback gained over the past few years we have added new features to Frontier Analyst. Frontier Analyst (version 4) is licensed in versions supporting from 75 to over 20,000 units (all versions can analyse as few as 5 units), with >32 variables (inputs or outputs). It runs under Microsoft Windows 2000, XP and Vista and requires 15Mb of disk space (plus your data storage) and an SVGA screen. The price includes the software with 3 months free support provided via email and telephone. Long-term, renewable support and maintenance agreements are also available (terms are available on request). The standard package is a CD-ROM in a DVD case with licence sheet. A printed manual is available as an optional (charged) extra. You can save money buying the web download online.
The Frontier Analyst® Plus Packs are now integrated into the main software. Lab LicensesLicenses are available for teaching in university computer labs at a very low price. With a lab license the software must be used only for academic teaching in a computer laboratory with student projects each up to three months duration - the typical duration of a term teaching the DEA technique. The lab license is for use by the maximum number of 30 concurrent users at any one time. A lab license may not be used for long term research, personal or any commercial purposes (other licenses are suitable for those purposes). Although the length of individual projects done using the software under this license is limited, the term of the license is perpetual - there are no annual fees required. Prices quoted are for up to 30 computers per lab, if your requirements extend beyond this, please contact info@banxia.com to discuss your requirements.
Frontier Analyst® Upgrades and MaintenanceIf you have version 3 of Frontier Analyst® and wish to upgrade to version 4, purchase the 1 year maintenance to obtain it. Renewal each year is discounted, and you continue to get the maintenance benefits. If you have version 4, you can also renew your maintenance and also get the benefits. Maintenance will give you all major upgrades in the period covered, as well as installation and operation support. Annual maintenance must be purchased for each licensed user. Maintenance does not include any physical product, but provides access to updates through the software internet-update facility and web site download. Renewal of your maintenance is available at a discount if you renew before the maintenance expires, or within one month of its expiry. After this time, a full price maintenance must be purchased again. Important: At no time does your purchased software expire or stop working - it will continue to work even past the maintenance expiry. The software will remind you that maintenance is about to expire, but there is no requirement to renew. Minor updates will continue to be available via our web site.
Additional LicensesFor all single user licenses costing over £150
(excl. shipping and VAT), you can buy further licenses ("license
extensions") at a 35% discount. The first license is always full
price. The 2nd to 5th licenses are at a discount of 35% off the single
license price. The 6th and further licenses are at a discount of 40%
off the single license price. License extensions are a certificate
only and do not include any additional copies of the software or manuals.
They are intended for use by colleagues in the same office or department
(that is at the same geographical location). To order an additional
license add an “X”
to the product code. For example, for an additional Frontier Analyst
single user 75 unit analysis capability license use the code FAP1/75X.

Don't worry - we can charge your credit card in "pounds sterling" ("GBP" - Great Britain Pounds), and the credit card company sorts out conversion at the current exchange rate so that the charges appear on your bill in your local currency. Alternatively, check if a local distributor is available - they will always take orders in local currency. So what value is a pound?
