Decision Explorer® Import / ExportBanxia® Software has developed links to other products that help you get even more from Decision Explorer®. Decision Explorer® is a very flexible tool in its own right, but there are other good tools that specialise in different types of qualitative and quantitative data analysis, with which you can exchange information from (or import information to) Decision Explorer®. You can import and export "node trees" from QSR's text-analysis package (N5/ NUD*IST) to Decision Explorer®, for further manipulation. You can export your Decision Explorer® model to N5/ NUD*IST as a coded N5/ NUD*IST project (using the Decision Explorer® sets and styles to provide the coding). You can also import "node trees" from QSR's N-Vivo package to Decision Explorer®, for further manipulation. For multi-criteria decision modelling you can export sections of your Decision Explorer® model (as the starting point for MCDM) into Visual Thinking's V.I.S.A software. For full details, see the links below. XML data transferThis page gives an overview of XML and Decision Explorer®. Technical details for developers are also available through this page. QSR. Banxia® Software and QSR have worked together to provide a method to import N5/ NUD*IST trees into Decision Explorer® and to export maps to N5/ NUD*IST for analysis or as a node tree. QSR N-VivoA page todescribe how to use the QSR. N-Vivo to Decision Explorer® transfer facility will be appearing soon.
