This version will download the additional parts, such as manuals,
when you install. This may reduce the download if you just want
the minimum install. If you are running Windows 2000, you must
have up-to-date service packs or the installer will fail processing
the updates - use the full download in that case.

This document is a step-by-step tutorial, designed to show you
how to use Decision Explorer® from first principles through
to starting to analyse your model. It should take only an hour or
so to complete, and by the end you will have a good understanding
for working on your own models. If you cannot download it, you can
email Banxia for a printed
copy.
There are two models that are referenced in the introduction document.
Both models are in the version 3.0.7 installation (both demonstration
and full). However, if you have a previous version, and just want
the files, you can get them from intromdl.zip.

The old Decision Explorer® demonstration file
is called DE32DEMO.EXE. The demonstration software
for Decision Explorer® is a "working model" version.
It is fully functional, apart from the fact that you can only create
30 concepts and some export options are limited. It includes a
tutorial and online help. You may like to download the
introduction document too - see below. Supplied as a Windows
executable it will install into a directory on your computer. An
uninstaller is provided so you can remove it easily. |

After you have finished downloading from this page, you can download
Adobe Acrobat from the Adobe
web pages. You can also get it from many magazine cover disks,
and all Banxia demonstration and product disks.

Problems?
We know that many people download the demonstration files successfully
each day. If you are having trouble, check that your own configuration
is working.
Demo installer failure
If the demonstration installer program doesn't work
when you have it (illegal instruction?), then check that the file size
is close to that described above. You may have to download again.
Lots of funny characters
If the file appears as a lot of funny characters on your screen,
click the Stop button, and then click Back to get you back at this page.
Now, RIGHT CLICK on the link to the file, and select the "Save Link
as" or "Save Target as" option. This will force your browser
to save the data as a file, and you will get a filename prompt.
