CoNexus^® System

The CoNexus^® system consists of multiple CoNexus keypads communicating with a single computer (usually a laptop) running CoNexus software. Group members use the keypads to privately register votes on issues displayed on a shared screen. Such a system gives groups the power of collaborative analysis of critical problems.

Features of the CoNexus system include the following:

Privacy. CoNexus emphasizes privacy to minimize the effects of power and politics. The CoNexus system is designed to support the group process and helps teams work better.
Utility. CoNexus keypads are simple to understand and use. The LED indicators provide a bright and clear indication of what is being input. The system is easy to set up and is portable. It fits into a carrying case (included with the system) that can be handled as carry-on luggage.
Flexibility. Each CoNexus keypad is microprocessor-controlled. Each keypad has multiple voting methods to record opinions.
Customizability. Labels and screens can be customized with your logo, and they can be translated into other languages.

The minimum hardware and software requirements for the CoNexus system are the following:

Pentium computer
Microsoft Windows™ operating system (Windows 2000, XP or later)
Super VGA (800 x 600) or higher resolution monitor / display
30 megabytes of hard disk space
128 megabytes of RAM.

Wireless (radio frequency) voting keypads (number of keypads depends on package purchased).

4 spiral-bound manuals, covering facilitation and system operation.
